About Contracts Department

The Contracts Department at A. & F. Pilbeam Ltd. is headed by Contracts Director, Michael Maloney.  Michael’s staff comprises Scott Giles, our Buyer/Surveyor, and Glen Karadzas, our Contract Manager.

Work carried out by this department ranges in value from £200,000 to £2million per individual contract. However, this can vary dependent upon our order book and enquiries received.

A large proportion of work over recent years has been at Educational and Healthcare facilities in addition to projects for a wide range of Commercial and Industrial Clients, Local, County and Diocesan Authorities and Private Clients.

The types of construction contracts entered into are, like our range of clients, varied in nature and include traditional construction, steel frames and reinforced concrete structures as well as other more complex forms of construction.

Many contracts include complex air handling and heating installations, together with hi-tech security, data cabling and electrical installations.

Examples of recent contracts include the following:-
