About Special Works

Our Special Works Director, David Fairs, runs this department with Pat French.

The department deals with a wide range of contracts across the whole spectrum of our client base and ranging from nominal values up to £200,000 per individual contract. A large proportion of this work is carried out by our own staff with reliance on sub-contactors for specialist trades.

The Special Works Department carries out a high proportion of contracts for Managing Agents, Loss Adjusters, Insurers, Churches, Local Government and Health Authorities, as well as a number of Commercial and Industrial Clients.

In addition we have a number of clients for whom we carry out ‘Day to Day’ Repair and Maintenance works.  These orders are small in value but may require response times of 24 hours, or as much as 7 days.

A great deal of work is also undertaken under the watchful eye of Conservation and Heritage bodies. Our Church work in particular, is an area in which our conservation skills are constantly honed.
